When the Chamber was reactivated in 2009, local businessman and Chamber Treasurer, Hank St-Onge kindly donated office space in the heart of Hastings. The two offices are specifically for the use of the Hastings and District Chamber of Commerce and its affiliated organization the Community & Tourist Information Centre (hyperlink).
The offices are centrally located on the south-east corner of the intersection of Bridge and Front Streets, which is the gateway to downtown Hastings. The Chamber office offers a desk with working spaces, business resources, computer services, and a small meeting or board room for 8-10 persons. The meeting room has coffee facilities, and is also available to local community groups where they can conduct regular meetings.
The other office houses the Community and Tourist Information Centre and provides an information desk, brochures, literature, community bulletin boards and various resources for visitors, including tour maps, fishing maps, maps of the Trent River, Rice Lake, and local trail systems, and a large collection of information intended for the general public as well as Chamber members. The Information Centre also has a large street-side video display unit that provides exciting visual presentations of local events, community news, and tourist attractions.
