In 2010, the ‘The Hastings Community & Tourist Information Centre’ was opened in the downtown core of Hastings, Ontario. The ‘Centre’ was established by the Hastings & District Chamber of Commerce and is hosted by community volunteers. Hank St-Onge, a local businessman, provided support for the Centre with the generous donation of office space.

Services
The Information Centre contributes to Hastings in a number of ways. The Centre is designed to showcase the Village, its local events, activities and tourist attractions, and provide written resource materials such as maps, driving tours, and brochures.
You can use the Information Centre as a walk-in resource center where you can drop off or pick up brochures and literature on points of interest, chat with the hosts on ‘what to do’ while in Hastings, or watch promotional videos on the large TV monitor. The Centre offers:
- maps and touring information,
- fishing and boating information,
- local business and shopping information,
- up-to-date event and festival information,
- computer resources, and,
- various community displays, such as the Village history, photo albums.
Community groups, residents, and businesses are invited to use the Information Centre to promote and showcase their activities, events, products, and services.

The ‘Community & Tourist Information Centre’ is centrally located in the heart of Hastings at the corner of Bridge and Front Streets in the Village of Hastings, Ontario.

During the months of May to September, the Centre is open two days per week at a minimum. Additional hours will be posted at the storefront location.
